Our Story
I Bought a cosmetic company

Why would I buy a cosmetics company, when I don't even really wear make up to begin with? Good Question. Lets go back to about 2020. My friend, Siara, really felt like cosmetics were lacking. She had been in the industry for years, but wanted more. She wanted higher quality products, that didn't break the bank, and that added some whimsey and magic to her day. Hence, she started her beauty line. It was a DND, fantasy, magic and nature themed line.

From the moment she had the idea to start it, she asked for my opinion on everything: Colors, themes, packaging, names, designs... everything. Why did she ask for my advise, because she wanted my opinions for what someone new to the make up world would like. It was fun to be part of something so big and exciting. Eventually, she wanted me to do shipping for her, so I turned my spare bedroom into both an office and warehouse!

Overtime, Siara decided that she was done with cosmetics, and was ready to move on to the next venture. While she looked for a buyer, I was up to my neck in orders with her liquidation sale. It was during this time that I realized how much of myself was in the line, my time, effort, . It felt like my baby to a degree, and eventually, I decided I couldn't let anyone else take it. I couldn't let all of my ideas, time, and energy, go to someone else. After having my husband, a business owner, work some things out, I was able to buy her entire brand.

So, here we are today.  What are the plans going forward? Siara had designed over another dozen products that were ready to launch, including perfume, setting spray, foundation, new shadows, and so much more. Those are all on my list. Not only that, but I will also be taking this on the road. I plan on going beyond online sales, and try some Ren Faires, Bridal Shows, and maybe even a Comic Convention or two.

I don't know exactly how I'm going to do this, but I'm excited for the challenge. I'm ready to see what the future holds for this tomboy in a cosmetics world.
